Position
Ha Tien Tourism and Trade Promotion Center is a public non-business unit operating on the principle of self-financing for regular operating expenses according to Decree No. 60/2021/ND-CP dated June 21, 2021, of the Government stipulating the financial autonomy mechanism of public non-business units.
Ha Tien Tourism and Trade Promotion Center has legal personality, its own seal and account, which can be opened at the State Treasury and commercial banks in accordance with the law.
Functions:
Organize and provide essential public services to meet the needs of tourism activities.
Advise on programs and plans to support businesses, cooperate with localities and organizations inside and outside the province on trade and tourism promotion activities.
Organize travel tours, manage tourist areas, organize production and provision of tourism services.
Manage and exploit tourism transport services at Cu Dut ferry terminal in accordance with state regulations.
Tasks and Powers:
Based on the local annual, medium-term, and long-term socio-economic development programs, build operating plans to submit to the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and implement the plans after approval.
Implement periodic and ad-hoc reporting as required by the managing agency in accordance with regulations. Participate in specialized professional activities organized by the superior agency. Cooperate, exchange, and share professional expertise with units and organizations inside and outside the province.
Manage and use labor, assets, budget, and revenue from services in accordance with regulations, implement regimes and policies, and emulation-rewarding for civil servants, public employees, and workers under management scope as prescribed by law. Develop plans for training and fostering civil servants and public employees to meet the unit's operating requirements and implement them upon approval by competent authorities.
Develop programs, plans, and projects to effectively promote investment for commercial business activities and tourism service activities in the ward according to the programs and plans of the Ha Tien Ward People's Committee.
Coordinate with functional sectors to collect, process, and provide economic, trade, and tourism information to advise businesses; research and propose to local leaders issues related to trade and tourism to adopt appropriate solutions.
Support and provide services to businesses to seek markets for trade activities (including border-gate economic zones) and business and investment activities for tourism projects in accordance with regulations.
Organize or support businesses to participate in exhibitions and trade fairs, service training, etc., to meet the production and business requirements of businesses.
Organize the production and provision of revenue-generating services in accordance with state regulations.
Organize travel tours.
Organize the collection of entrance fees and the exploitation and management of tourism service activities at the Mui Nai, Thach Dong, Da Dung Scenic Heritage Sites and other tourist areas/spots (if any) in Ha Tien Ward.
Maintain environmental hygiene, create a clean and beautiful landscape; organize service activities to serve the needs of tourists at the Mui Nai, Thach Dong, and Da Dung Scenic Heritage Sites.
Manage the operation of the Mui Nai Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Coordinate with relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals to deploy assigned tasks; submit periodic reports, ad-hoc reports, and other tasks assigned by the Ward People's Committee in accordance with regulations.
