Our Story

Our chocolate journey began in 2018 — on a Vespa ride along the Mekong River.
Through visits to renowned cacao-growing regions across the Mekong Delta, we connected with dedicated farmers and discovered the art of meticulous chocolate making.
Driven by our belief in the quality of Vietnamese cacao and a spirit of creativity, we crafted a unique flavor profile that celebrates both origin and innovation. This passion led us to create the first handcrafted chocolates made right here on Phu Quoc Island — bringing authentic, locally made chocolate to discerning chocolate lovers.
Ingredients & Origin

- Cacao Region: Vietnam offers one of the world’s most ideal climates and fertile soils for cacao cultivation.
- Characteristics: Our cacao trees grow beneath the shade of coconut palms, resulting in a naturally fruity and refreshing flavor profile.
- Harvest Season: Main harvests occur in April–May and October–November.
- Varieties: We carefully research and select cacao strains suited to each microclimate and soil type to ensure consistent, exceptional quality.
The “Bean to Bar” Craftsmanship

At the Farm:
Ripe cacao pods are hand-harvested, beans are extracted, fermented to develop flavor, and sun-dried naturally.
They are then bagged and transported to our Phu Quoc factory.
At the Bittersweet Factory:

- Roasting the beans to reveal their signature aroma.
- Winnowing to separate nibs from the shells.
- Grinding nibs into rich cacao mass and blending with sugar and other ingredients.
- Refining and conching to achieve silky smooth texture and balanced taste.
- Tempering for perfect gloss and snap.
- Molding, cooling, and hand-wrapping each bar in elegant, eco-friendly packaging.
Every step is a testament to craftsmanship, patience, and respect for the ingredient.
